The Hebridean Mustard Company based in Leverburgh is launching three new products, the company has announced.

Mustheb’s founder Heike Winter explains: “8-Pepper-Cèilidh is a pepper mustard. Black, green, white and pink peppercorns sway with allspice, cubebs, Bengal pepper and grains of paradise to the beat of the mustard.

"This mustard has a delightful peppery palate thrill with an ultimate kick.

“The Hardneck Porcelain Garlic that is used in Garlic Galore, is a classical variety that has an original sweet taste of garlic and no bitter aftertaste. The garlic grows in the Scottish Highlands.

“The full-bodied aromas of Taste of India mustard are finely tuned to each other so that they do not get lost in the pungency of the mustard and the mustard also retains its mustard taste. It is a reminiscent of traditional curry, classic masala or historic tandoori.

The Hebridean Mustard Company was founded in September 2017 and is based in Leverburgh, South Harris.  Its products are available in various local food stores, at the wee blue mustard shack in Leverburgh, and online (www.hebrideanmustard.com)
