A party from Lewis and Harris were among up to 14,000 people who marched in Inverness on Saturday (July 28th) in support of a new Referendum on Scottish Independence.

The rally, organised by pro-Independence group All Under One Banner, took over 45 minutes to pass through the town centre of Inverness, in one of the largest demonstrations seen by the city in years.

Roads were closed to allow marchers to pass, on a day with a celebratory atmosphere.
