Two young drivers attracted police attention over separate driving incidents in Stornoway at the weekend.
A 20-year-old man had his vehicle seized under section 126 of the Anti-social Behaviour Order 2004.
He was stopped by police in Stornoway town centre just before 1am on Saturday (January 19th) and, as he had already received two warnings for driving in an anti-social manner, his vehicle was seized.
He will now have to pay at least £150 to get the car returned.
On Sunday morning (January 20th) at 1am, an 18-year-old woman was involved in a collision on Cannery Road in Stornoway and was reported to the Procurator Fiscal for careless driving.
