Comhairle nan Eilean Siar has applied for planning permission to construct a new car park on common grazing at Luskentyre. The car park will accommodate 11 cars.
New streetworks pole, Leverburgh
Arqiva Ltd has applied for planning permission to erect a 10m streetworks pole, antenna and associated works at the smart metering mast on Ferry Road, Leverburgh.
Isle of Lewis
Extension of existing agricultural building, Melbost
Angus Campbell of 26 Melbost has applied for planning permission to extend the existing agricultural equipment barn at 26 Melbost, Point.
Demolition of garage, construction of house, Newmarket
Calmax construction has applied for planning permission to demolish the garage and a build a house at Moorfield, Newmarket. The new house will consist of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen/dining area and lounge. Work will also consist of creating parking suitable for 2 cars.
Agricultural building, Ness
Donald Macleod of 47A Swainbost, Ness, has applied for planning permission to erect an agricultural building at 47 Swainbost, Ness. The barn will be used for crofting and will consist of a steel frame with concrete wall panels. It will be 13.716 metres long, 9.144 metres wide and 5.4 metres tall. The external colour will be grey.
Extension of transformer, Stornoway
Scottish Hydro Electric Transmission has applied for planning permission to extend a transformer at Peat Restoration Area, Lochs Road.
Change of use of barn to bunkhouse
Jonathan Smith has applied for planning permission to change the use of a barn to a bunkhouse at 38 Balallan. The bunkhouse will consist of two bedrooms, a kitchen/dining room and two bathrooms, as well as a utility and drying room and a bike store. Work will also include adding more parking making the total number of parking spaces available 2.
New agricultural building, Ness
Norman M Macleod of 3A Cross has applied for planning permission to build a new agricultural building at 3A Cross, Ness. The building is to have a block steelframe and will be 9 metres tall, 5 metres wide and 4 metres high.
Alter and extend house, Lochs
Neil Macleod of 6 Memorial Avenue has applied for planning permission to alter and extend the house at 23 Ranish. Work will also include creating parking spaces for three cars.
