Hebrides Travel are seeking a confident Modern Apprentice with good admin and numeracy skills to join their team from June, for 3 or 4 days per week.

Calmax Construction Limited in Newmarket, Stornoway, are recruiting a Machine Operator.

The County Hotel in Stornoway requires an experienced Shift Manager for their busy bar and restaurant.  The candidate should be flexible, with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

Crossroads Lewis are looking for Care Attendants to join their dedicated team.  The posts offer good rates of pay with flexible hours, and training and mileage costs will be covered.  Applicants must have a full driving license and their own vehicle.

There's a part-time opportunity with Carhire Hebrides, who are recruiting a Customer Services Operative.  The candidate should be an adaptable fast learner with basic computer skills. Some experience in the car rental industry would be an advantage but full training will be provided.  The work will be mainly at weekends but there might be an opportunity for additional hours during the week.

The Group Practice Health Centre, Stornoway, is recruiting to the following full time posts: Practice Manager; Medical Receptionist; and Healthcare Assistant.

Tighean Innse Gall (TIG) –  the local Energy and Development Agency for the Western Isles – is seeking a part-time Receptionist (22.5 hours p/w)
Mon-Fri - 12:30 pm - 5.00 pm

TIG – based in Point Street – says that: “Working in partnership, we deliver energy efficiency and housing projects through our Insulation and Development sections, offer impartial energy advice via our Energy Advisory Service (TEAS) and manage the Western Isles Care & Repair and Home Safety services.”

And there’s a need for a Quality Controller at the Scottish Salmon Company in Marybank.

Meanwhile the CleanSquad in Rigs Road, has a chance of work in its Laundry Department as a Laundry Operative whose tasks include: sorting items, checking for stains, loading machines, finish by drying, ironing, folding and packing according to our quality standards.
