Passengers planning to travel from Ullapool to Stornoway tomorrow afternoon (Friday, January 5th) are advised to ‘Be Aware’ as adverse sea conditions mean the 5.30pm sailing from Ullapool is liable to disruption or cancellation at short notice.
The Ullapool-Stornoway Freight ferry service also faces a high probability of cancellation to its 10.30pm sailing tomorrow night due to adverse sea conditions.
And high winds and adverse weather are also causing changes to CalMac ferry timetables on the Castlebay-Oban and Mallaig-Lochboisdale-Oban routes tomorrow.

On the Castlebay-Oban service operating out of Barra, forecast high winds will see the CalMac ferry depart Castlebay at 5.30am, arriving in Oban at 10.15am to depart again at 10.45am, and arrive back in Castlebay at 15.30am.
Also due to forecast adverse weather, the sailing from Lochboisdale (South Uist) to Oban on Friday January 5th, has been diverted to Mallaig.
The Mallaig-Lochboisdale-Oban timetable for tomorrow will see the ferry depart Lochboisdale at 6.30am to arrive in Mallaig at 10.15am. The boat will then depart Mallaig at 10.30am, to arrive in Lochboisdale at 2pm.
