"This is the final year of the four year HHP Investment framework contract which has seen over £3m worth of contracts awarded each year to local contractors.

"HHP seeks to ensure that where possible investment is channelled in such a way that the local economy and, in particular, the local workforce benefits and we are delighted this has been achieved through our excellent relationships with local contractors who have delivered a high quality service to our tenants.

Alasdair Mackenzie, an HHP Board Member, said “As a tenant on HHP’s Board I am delighted to see this amount of work being carried out in tenants’ homes.

"To have local contractors carrying out the work is especially pleasing as HHP have championed the local apprenticeship scheme which ensures work for young people who are essential to our island’s future”.
