Police in the Western Isles are appealing for information following a vehicle fire in the Castle Grounds in Stornoway.
The car - a silver/grey Vauxhall Corsa - was found on fire shortly after 6pm on Monday, July 23rd, in an area of the grounds close to Willowglen Road .
The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and nobody was injured.
Officers are treating the fire as suspicious and are seeking to identify two men seen leaving the area in the direction of Bennadrove Road.

Both men are described as being young with dark hair. One was wearing a red jacket and a light coloured top, while the second was wearing a dark jacket.
The car is believed to have been involved in a collision with another vehicle in the Matheson Road area of Stornoway shortly before the fire. Again nobody was injured.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed either of the incidents or for anyone who has any information that could assist enquiries to call 101, quoting reference NH1557/18.
