Thanks…members of the Hebridean Men’s Cancer Support Group at Islander Shellfish today (Friday)

More than £2,500 has been raised for the Hebridean Men’s Cancer Support Group by a raffle supported by Stornoway Fishermen and Fish Merchants organized through Islander Shellfish on Cromwell Street Quay.

Four people won four identical prizes of seafood boxes with a variety of seafood donated by Islander Shellfish itself, and Stornoway Smokehouse; Ruaraidh Macrae; Hebridean Mussels; Loch Erisort Mussels; Jamie Macdonald; Scottish Salmon; and the fishing vessels Heather Isles, Callina, and Sincerity.  The boxes were supplied by Polybox (Stornoway) Ltd.
The winning tickets were drawn this afternoon (Friday) in Islander Shellfish by members of the shop’s staff and the winning boxes of seafood will be available at the Retirement Centre from 3pm next Friday for the winners to pick up.
The Hebridean Man’s Cancer Support Group thanked Ronnie Scott, proprietor of  Islander Shellfish, for his work in hosting the raffle and developing it.
