Hundreds of people turned out for the revived Point Show on Saturday despite early rain and blustery conditions.
The show was being held again after a year’s gap caused by the loss of access to the facilities of the storm-damaged and soon-to-be-demolished Aird School.
For the first time, all the displays were accommodated in large tents on the sports pitch adjacent to Tiumpanhead community centre.
The agricultural section of the show continued in the same site beyond the car park and there were stalls scattered over the whole site around the centre.
Crowds attended at the peak of the event despite competition from major events in Stornoway.
Pipers from 7Scots and Lewis Pipe Band entertained visitors to the show.
