Ealasaid is Isles' Labour candidate for General Election

The Western Isles Labour Party candidate for the General Election will be Ealasaid MacDonald. 

Ealasaid lives in Lewis but is originally from South Uist and Eriskay. 

She commented: "I am very proud to have been selected by the Labour Party to fight for the privilege of representing Na h-Eileanan an Iar in Parliament. If elected I promise a new positive approach which will always put our islands first.
