Flybe will soon offer early morning departures from Stornoway on Monday and Tuesday mornings on flights operated on its behalf by Eastern Airways to Glasgow.

With effect from Monday 8th January, 2018, flights will depart at 0740 and arrive at 0845, which is 40 minutes earlier than at present.  This is in order to better align capacity with customer demand.
To facilitate these schedule changes, an extra northbound flight has been added to the current Sunday schedule with the aircraft departing Glasgow at 1755, arriving Stornoway 1900.

This will be in addition to the current Sunday flight that is being slightly re-timed to operate 20 minutes earlier, departing Glasgow 1440 and returning back at 1615.

Other minor timing adjustments have been made to the overall schedule to accommodate these changes – full details at

Customers with existing bookings will be automatically re-booked and advised via email of their new flight times. This will be done in date of flight order.

Flybe’s Interim Chief Commercial Officer, Ronne Matheson said: “We recently stated that we would be making some positive changes to our Stornoway schedule. I am pleased that we have now been able to adjust things a little to benefit islanders with early morning southbound flights.

"This will also provide better and more convenient connections beyond Glasgow, giving residents of Stornoway added customer choice.”
