Salary £31,337 - £36,157 (inclusive of Distance Islands Allowance) per annum

An opportunity has arisen for the role of Clerk of Works based in our Balivanich Office.  This post is part of our Uist area team which delivers our repair and refurbishment programmes.  In this post you will be expected to provide technical support to enable the delivery of the Partnership’s investment, maintenance and new build programmes. You will also be required to carry out investigations, supervise building and repair works and act as Clerk of Works on new build projects.

We are looking for someone who has significant experience of working on housing or other construction projects.

Applicants for this post must be committed to teamwork, providing excellent customer service and enjoy working with people.  A good technical knowledge of construction matters and a willingness to work towards Membership of the Institute of Clerk of Works is essential.

You must have access to a car to enable you to meet the duties of this post be flexible regarding working hours and travel throughout the islands including occasional overnight stays.
