A stunning 2021 Calendar to raise funds for Care Homes in Uist and Barra has been launched by a gifts website set up by the long-established Balivanich family-owned enterprise MacGillivrays.
All of the profits from the calendars’ sales are being donated to three island Care Homes – Trianaid, in North Uist; Sacred Heart House, in Daliburgh; and St Brendan's,in Castlebay on Barra.
Rory MacGillvary, a skilled amateur photographer himself, said: “We wanted to find a way to support our local community during difficult times.
"The calendar idea gave us the opportunity to do this and with the help of local photographers we have managed to capture the beauty of our islands.
"Every penny that is made from these calendars will go straight to our local care homes, we are delighted with the final product and pleased to be able to support our care homes.”

"On behalf of the Uist and Barra Care Homes we want to thank ‘Hebrides by MacGillivray’s’ and local photographers for this very kind gesture.”
