Comhairle nan Eilean Siar has introduced an updated complaints procedure, which came into effect on Thursday (1 April) and has been added to their website today (Sunday).

The new procedure uses the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman's model for complaints handling procedures and is detailed at

The document explains how to let the Comhairle know if something has gone wrong, and the process that will take place once you have made a complaint.

The Comhairle says: “The Comhairle is committed to providing high-quality customer services. We value complaints and use information from them to help us improve our services.”
