Hebridean Housing Partnership has announced the successful completion of the housing development called Sealladh Beinn Dail, in South Dell, by Alex Murray Construction.
Work began in August 2020 on six high quality homes for affordable social rent.
A variety of one, two and three bedroom semi-detached properties were completed, providing six families with high quality housing they can call their homes.
This brings the total number of new homes completed in rural areas to 10 since April 2021 with 48 more rural homes at various stages of the development process.
The site was named after Beinn Dail, a hill on the Dell moor which can clearly be seen from the site and is a well-known landmark locally.
Alex Murray, Managing Director of Alex Murray Construction said: “We are privileged to be involved in providing new affordable homes for six families within the Ness district.
"We are grateful to Hebridean Housing Partnership and Comhairle nan Eilean Siar for this opportunity and look forward to working with them on future projects in providing new homes within the Outer Hebrides.”
