A number of farewell presentations were made at a Stornoway Reformed Presbyterian Church congregational gathering last Saturday to their departing minister. 

Rev Stephen McCollum has been minister of the congregation for the past five years, who will be leaving next week to take up a call to the Airdrie RP congregation.

At an afternoon tea in the Cala Hotel a cheque was handed over to Mr McCollum by the Rev Donald Macdonald.

His wife Mariettea then presented a Harris Tweed handbag to his wife Brenda, and Olivia McElhatton presented suitable gifts to the children, Zoe, Elouise and young Knox.
