Stornoway Singers are delighted to be back in the Town Hall for their Christmas Concert on Saturday December 10.
There will be a party atmosphere with the tables set up and decorations in the Hall.
The audience are encouraged to bring their own refreshments and settle in to enjoy an evening of carols, Christmas songs and community singing and some good old Christmas cheer.
The concert is a week earlier than usual, so make sure it is in the calendar - whether hidden in your phone or scrawled on a traditional paper display on a kitchen wall.
The choir will be singing some of the old favourites as well as new arrangements and some of Peter Moger’s own compositions.
They will be supported by Gavin Woods and his wind band together with Andrew Yearley on keyboards and maybe, if we’re lucky, on timpani too!
As usual, tickets will be available from Nicolsons papershop on Cromwell Street, at the door on the night or from choir members.
You won’t be seeing the banners around the town, unfortunately as they disappeared almost as soon as they were put up for the September concert earlier this year!
The Singers encourage everyone to join them raising the rafters and bringing Christmas in with a bang.
