Alterations to hostel

The Gatliff Hebridean Hostels Trust has applied to the Comhairle for listed building consent to replace the doors and windows at the Rushgarry youth hostel on Berneray.

The trust, based in Francis Street, Stornoway, says that the existing doors and windows are rotting and need replacing to provide better insulation, heat retention, and comfort for hostellers.
