Caraidean Uibhist and the Uist and Barra Foodbank have split almost £2000 raised at Saturday’s bingo night in Balivanich Hall.
Responding to the donation, Caraidean Uibhist said they wished to thank Heather Morrison and her family for arranging the fundraiser.
“It was a really fun and successful night, with Dave Adey so ably showing his bingo calling skills. Thank you also to all the individuals and businesses that once again donated prizes for the raffle and the bingo itself - we really do live in such an amazing community,” added the befriending charity.
Meanwhile, the Uist and Barra Foodbank also thanked the Morrison family for suggesting the bingo night and then organising the entire event.
“The amount of work they did was just astounding, and showed with the vast amount of prizes on the night, through vouchers, gifts, services and money and from all the people that attended. Thank you again,” commented the foodbank.
