There’s been a permanent change to the court schedule at Lochmaddy Sheriff Court in North Uist, according an announcement from the court officer yesterday (Thursday 12 January).

From the first court of 2023, on Wednesday 25 January, court sessions will move from the current timetable of the fourth Tuesday and Wednesday in each month to the fourth Wednesday and Thursday.

Fourth Wednesdays will see criminal courts and trials, while fourth Thursdays will be set aside for civil ordinary courts and proofs.

Business for each court day is published on the court rolls at https://www.scotcourts.gov.uk/current-business/court-rolls/sheriff-court.
