SS Marloch memorial

Lochboisdale Community Council has submitted a planning consent application to erect a memorial in the village to commemorate the centenary of the SS Marloch emigration.

The structure will include seating made from local stone, polished stone and concrete.

Soft uplighting will be used to illuminate the structure.

It is planned to build the memorial on the grass section east of the Lochboisdale Gateway Garden.

Erect an agricultural shed

A prior notification has been submitted to the Comhairle regarding the erection of an agricultural shed at 17 Ormiclate.

The applicant, Iseabail Macdonald, of the same address, is planning to build an 18 x 12 metre shed for housing livestock.
