A SEPA flood warning is in place for Baleshare this morning (Wednesday, February 8).

It is feared that the combination of gale force southerly winds, high tides and waves could lead to overtopping, spray and debris impacting the Baleshare causeway.

Flooding is also possible on low-lying land, roads and properties on either side of the causeway on Baleshare and Clachan na Luib.

The highest risk is on either side of Wednesday morning's high tide, which at Balivanich is at 8.15 am.
