There is a rare opportunity to see award-winning Iranian cinema work on the big screen later this month in Carinish Hall.
UistFilm Presents will be screening Winners, a tribute to Iranian cinema and worldwide film heritage. The movie revolves around one small town in Iran and its love for cinema.
The town’s children work hard to support their families. One day nine-year-old Yahya and his friend Leyla find a precious statue. Sharing a passion for cinema, Yahya’s boss Naser Khan (Reza Naji), decides to help them find the owner.
The screening is on Saturday, March 25, at 7 pm. Seats are on a pay-what-you-decide basis of £3/£6/£8/£10.
