Bird charity the RSPB are declaring war on invasive rhododendrons at their Loch Druidibeg reserve in South today (Thursday, March 16) and every Thursday until the end of the month.

If you can drop by the reserve any time between 9.30 am and 12 noon today, your help will be warmly welcomed.

The other volunteer mornings are Thursday, March 23 and Thursday, March 30.

Please can be provided, and volunteers are advised to dress well for the weather and wear waterproof footwear.

The locations within the reserve being tackled each morning will be posted on the car park noticeboard.
