Uist Asco Ltd. has announced a training and finance scheme to help them recruit seaweed harvesters.

Unveiling the initiative, Uist Asco Ltd said: “Thinking about harvesting seaweed for Uist Asco? We make it easy for you. From training you on harvesting techniques to providing supplies and some financing, we give you what you need to earn fair wages harvesting Asco (Ascophyllum nodosum).”
