Iochdar Community Council made a good start yesterday (Saturday, March 18) to their 2023 tree planting project.

The community council volunteers and friends broke out their spades to plant trees supplied for free by “I Dig Trees”.

More tree planting is planned for later in the year thanks to funding from Comhairle nan Eilean Siar’s Challenge Fund.
