While her award-winning gift shop, Coralbox, on Berneray has been closed for the winter, Eilidh Carr has been turning her hand to writing.

And her love for the outdoors, photography and Berneray has landed the talented islander with her first commissioned online story for Slow Ways, the national walking route network.

Eilidh says she had great fun writing the article about wandering around her native island and has now been asked to contribute more stories and articles in the coming months.

Coralbox Gift Shop will reopen on Friday, March 31, at 10.30 am. The opening times will be Tuesday to Saturday, 10.30 am to 5 pm.
