A new date has been announced for the much anticipated Tobar an Dualchais ~ Kist o Riches at Cnoc Soilleir.

The event, scrapped last week due to ferry disruption, will now take place on Tuesday, April 11, at 2.00 pm. 

Tobar an Dualchais ~ Kist o Riches confirmed this was now a firm date, saying: "We're booked on the ferry from Uig to Lochmaddy the weekend before the event so, even allowing for potential issues on that route, we hope to be in Uist a couple of days prior to the event on the Tuesday."

The show by Scotland’s online cultural audio archive is to include decade-spanning interview recordings of contributors from the south end of South Uist. Tea, coffee and baking will be served.
