With less than a month to go, the Ness Gala Day committee are switching up a gear as the Saturday, June 24 deadline nears.

The gala day, one of the biggest summer events in Ness, will take place between 1 pm and 5 pm on the Ness football pitch on Fivepenny machair.

Among the plethora of attractions lined up are mini go-karts, a Noddy trailer ride, a bubble football and a wrecking ball.

There will also be a disco dome, classic cars, a teddy tombola and a wheel of fortune.

Provided entertainment will be the Claire Wilson School of Highland Dance, the Ness Melodeon Band, and a pipe band.

Food and drink will be available from the bar and tuck shop, a bbq and tea tent, local food stalls, not to mention candy floss.
