The Hebridean Baker and Harris Tweed Hebrides’ collaboration with whisky distillers Johnnie Walker has been shortlisted in the Scotsman’s Scran Awards.

Coinneach Macleod, the Outer Hebrides global baking sensation, is in the Scottish Food and Drink Influencer of the Year category.

The Scotsman noted that his two cookbooks have made him Scotland’s best-selling cookbook author for the past two years.

Meanwhile, Harris Tweed Hebrides are in the running for the New Product of the Year with Johnnie Walker.

The world-famous distiller, synonymous with Kilmarnock, teamed up late last year with Harris Tweed Hebrides to create luxury packaging for a new whisky. The result was a bespoke Harris Tweed plaid for the limited edition whisky matured in Edinburgh in hand-selected American oak casks.
