The free Cooking on a Budget demonstrations at Sgoil nan Loch and Stornoway Primary have been cancelled as the public found the events last month unappetizing.

Announcing the cancellations, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar’s Community Learning Hebrides team said: “The remaining dates in this series have been cancelled due to a lack of attendance. We will be evaluating what we have done so far and rethinking our approach. We will be hosting more events in future, and we hope to see you there!”

The Sgoil nan Loch event was due to take place on Wednesday, June 7 and the Stornoway Primary demo a week later, on Wednesday, June 14.
