Cyclist Iain Macleod, originally of Stornoway, is now on the 4th day of his charity cycle around Scotland in aid of mental health charity SAMH.

SAMH carry out vital work in communities across Scotland in areas such as suicide prevention with the aim of influencing positive social change.

Iain’s 1000 mile cycle will take him from his starting point in Aberdeen towards Inverness then around the North Coast 500 route before heading south to Aviemore and back to Aberdeen.

Last month Iain achieved national success as he overcame tough competition to win the Scottish 50 mile Time Trial Championship.
