The largest ever darts exhibition to be staged in the Outer Hebrides will take place on Friday, October 27th, as Stornoway Sea Angling Club plays host to champions Eric Bristow and Bobby George.
And islanders are also in with a chance to play with two of the games’ finest in a night that’s looks set not to be missed.
The trip the Stornoway will be a first for ‘Crafty Cockney’ Eric Bristow, whose skill and personality helped turn darts into the worldwide spectator sport it is today.

A former five-time World Champion (taking the titles in 1980, ’81, ’84, ’85, and 1986), it was Bobby George that Eric beat to win his first World Title – a game that put darts on the map. Eric also won the World Masters five times and was a founding member of the PDC in 1993.
For Bobby George – ‘The King of Bling’ – this will be his fourth visit to Stornoway, having previously played in the Caberfeidh Hotel, the Heb, and the Rangers Club.
Widely recognised as one of the games’ biggest personalities Bobby’s made his mark winning the News of the World darts title in 1976, and his flamboyant entrances on stage, bedecked in jewellery and complete with crown and cloak, have kept fans entertained ever since.
Tickets for Eric and Bobby’s darts exhibition are on sale in Stornoway Sea Angling Club, priced £10.
Four lucky audience members will have the chance to take their turn amongst the dart giants with an auction on the night giving the opportunity to play with the legends.
And there are also qualifying competitions in the Sea Angling Club on Saturday , October 21st, and a Women’s and Under-18 competition on Wednesday, October 25th, both to decide on ten local players to play against Eric and George.
