Castlebay School pupils showed their humorous side yesterday (Saturday, November 18) at a tongue-in-cheek fashion show staged in conjunction with The Thrift Shop.
Though many were taking their stint on the catwalk less than completely seriously, the event had its serious side.
The show’s Cafaidh Cabadaich raised £160 as part of the pupils’ social enterprise project, while £70 was raised for school funds by the fashion show’s raffle.
After the glamour was over, the school posted: “What a brilliant afternoon we all had at the Thrift Shop Fashion Show today with some sights to behold!
“Thanks to all the adult volunteers for their time, to the sound crew for the fantastic tunes and lighting, to the Cafaidh Cabadaich girls, to everyone who came along to spectate, and lastly to our very own supermodels! You were all stars.”
