CalMac advises passengers to travel today (Tuesday, November 21) to beat the weather on the Oban-Castlebay run.

Last night, CalMac warned that crossings were liable to disruption or cancellation at short notice due to an adverse weather forecast for tomorrow.

The Eriskay-Barra ferry is operating as normal today and there's no weather advisory in place regarding sailings tomorrow.
