The weather is tightening its grip on the Mallaig-Oban-Lochboisdale ferry service for the rest of the week, with disruptions and timetable changes imminent.
Due to adverse weather, the 12:30 service departing Oban today (Tuesday, November 21) is liable to disruption or cancellation at short notice.
However, CalMac qualifies this by saying there will be a review at approximately 9 am.
Ferry services will also likely be subject to weather-related disruption and cancellations tomorrow (Wednesday, November 22) and Thursday (November 23).
And on Friday (November 24), berthing clashes will mean the following timetable will be in place:
Depart Lochboisdale - 06:00
Arrive Oban - 11:45
Depart Oban - 13:00
Arrive Lochboisdale - 18:45
Meanwhile, today’s Berneray-Leverburgh afternoon sailings are facing disruption or cancellation.
CalMac says they will review the weather forecast at approximately 11 am.
