Ann Macleod and Calum Macleod were the stars at the Spòrsnis Christmas lights switch on in North Lewis on Monday (December 4).

With mulled wine, mince pies, cake, Christmas jumpers, and a selection of festive tunes, the annual free community event brought the Ness population out in numbers.

Ann and Calum were chosen to turn on the lights as a way to say thank you for their hard work in helping local newspaper Fios on its print and delivery days.

Video of the lights turning on, which had originally been planned for Saturday before being rescheduled, has been posted on the Fios's social media.
