Lochboisdale is poised to be without a ferry service for a second day as storm-force weather continues to wreak havoc on timetables.

Sailings today (Thursday, December 7) are cancelled.

In addition, the MV Isle of Arran is scheduled to operate an amended timetable over the weekend.

Departing Oban - 12:30 (delayed 11:15)*

*Due to the adverse weather forecast, this service is liable to disruption or cancellation at short notice. 

Saturday, December 9

Depart Lochboisdale – 05:55 (delayed 05:40) diverted to Oban
Depart Oban – 12:10 (delayed 09:50 now departing Oban)

Departing Mallaig 17:55 - Cancelled

Sunday, December 10

Departing Lochboisdale - 05:55 (now diverting to Oban)
Departing Mallaig – 13:50 – Cancelled 

Meanwhile, the Berneray-Leverburgh ferry, MV Loch Portain, is tied up for a second day due to adverse weather.

However, the MV Alfred sailings between Lochmaddy and Tarbert will operate as scheduled.
