Islanders are again in demand from the world of showbiz, with a casting call for native Gaelic speakers to take part in a new four-part BBC drama series.
Just days after the world’s famous Cirque du Soleil launched a search for a female piper, a casting company working for the BBC is looking for people aged 19 -80 who are native Gaidhlig speakers.
No previous experience is necessary, but an interest in performance and acting is a bonus, says the casting call.
