The Hebridean Men's Cancer Support Group has publicly thanked the team at Men Only Barbers on Church Street, Stornoway, for raising £1200 to help fund their activities.
On their Facebook Page, the group say: "Following the very generous donation from Men Only Barbers recently we visited Kay and her girls today to say thanks once again for their support over the years.
"Men Only is the longest established men’s barbers to be located on the one site since the company was formed by Kay 31 years ago.
"In discussions today Kay reflected on how many of our men are regulars but also sadly remembering all those no longer with us.
"As you can imagine, over 30 years cutting men’s hair on the one site means an incredible number of haircuts.
"For this reason Kay and her team of girls have supported us through fund raising for a number of years.
"We are absolutely delighted to once again receive this latest donation of £1,200 from Men Only Barbers.
"The money was raised as part of their anniversary celebrations last year and includes donations from their clients."
The group photograph outside the shop includes Don Maclean and Donnie Morrison representing HMCSG.
The other photo shows HMCSG treasurer Ady Morrison accepting the cheque presented by Leanne with groups members in the background.
