The Ceòlas summer school will be live-streamed to a potentially global audience next month.

Most of the community events are to be live-streamed, allowing anyone from the diaspora to buy a ticket and enjoy the music, song, and dancing without leaving home.

Ceòlas will be working again with Wee Studio to beam live action worldwide.

The full in-person and live-streamed events programme is now on the Ceòlas website.

Says Ceòlas: “As part of Ceòlas week, we put on an array of events in South Uist with cèilidhs, concerts, walks and more with many of the talented tutors and performers at the Sgoil Shamhraidh as well as other friends of Ceòlas.”

This year, the class timetables have been reworked to allow summer school participants to attend more fringe events.

Tickets are available from the Ceòlas website and the Cnoc Soilleir reception during the summer school week, from Sunday, July 7 to Friday, July 12.
