Four local organisations have received funding from the Uist Gaelic Plan Community Fund.
Caraidean Uibhist, The Caladh Trust, Sgoil an Iochdair Parent Council and P7 pupils in Uist all benefited.
The funding is for projects, events and training that will strengthen the visibility and use of Gaelic in schools and in the community across all generations.
The Uist Gaelic Plan community fund is still open for applications and welcomes submissions from any group in Uist seeking to increase the visibility and use of Gaelic in Uist.
