The family of Joan Longdon (nee Love), late of Long Lane and Tolsta, would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their kind support following their sad loss.
We would like to sincerely express our thanks to all staff of the ICU and ENT departments of Raigmore Hospital and to all staff of the A and E, HDU and Medical Ward 1 of the Western Isles Hospital for their wonderful care and attention given to Joan during her illness, with a special thank you to the ‘Angels’ of the Macmillan Nurses at both Raigmore and the Western Isles Hospital.
We are also extremely grateful to the Scottish Air Ambulance Service for responding to two emergency call outs and for their care and professionalism.
Special thanks also to all those who travelled to pay their last respects, attended the funeral service and donated to Cancer Research and MacMillan Nurses charities.
Our heartfelt thanks to the Rev. William J Heenan of St. Columba’s Church for leading the funeral service and to the church elders for their support.
Sincere thanks to A. Macrae funeral directors and cemetery attendants for providing their services.
