The Leanne Fund Committee dipped a toe at Bayble Beach to kick off the fundraising challenge

Summer is here and The Leanne Fund are asking those out and about to take a dip and help raise funds to support those with Cystic Fibrosis (CF).

The Leanne Fund committee kicked off the challenge last week with a paddle on Bayble Beach, Isle of Lewis.

And it couldn't be easier to support the charity by dipping a toe in the water.

To get involved all you have to do is dip your toes in the sea, in a rock pool, a paddling pool, a water slide or even a bath; take a snap; text TLFD16 to 70070 to donate £5 to The Leanne Fund and post your picture to Facebook nominating three friends to follow suit.

The Lewis based charity, which supports those with CF throughout the Highlands and Islands and Grampian regions, would love to see your pictures and ask people to please post their video or photo to The Leanne Fund Facebook page at and or on Twitter @TheLeanneFund #dipanddonate

The Leanne Fund is entering an exciting phase in its history having secured funding from the Big Lottery Fund for its Development Project which will see it expand services across the Highlands and Islands and Grampian.

The Leanne Fund Development Project includes plans to support those affected by Cystic Fibrosis with fitness plans and equipment; counselling; complementary therapies and the administration of small grants and crisis funds.
