The Eilean Dorcha Festival has unveiled its latest addition to July’s music festival lineup – an inflatable tent.

The tent is for younger festival goers and will be the new home of the EDF Kidzone.

The EDf takes place this year on the Liniclate machair on Friday and Saturday, July 26 and 27.

Among the acts lined up for 2024 is Belgian electro dance outfit Ian Van Dahl. They are joined by the best of Scottish talent, including Tide Lines, returning for the first time since 2017,  and the ever-popular Skerryvore and Mànran.

Cammy Barnes, The Eves, Project Smok, Valtos, Rob Muir, Benbeula’s Beinn Lee, and Trail West are also on the bill.

Festival veteran George Bowie and newcomers Ultrabeat, Saint PHNX, DJ Sparkos, Ali McFly, and QFX are returning, too.

And popping up as before are Alex & Friends and double Gold Medallist Ruairidh Gray.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that the EDF is being immortalised in song by Bensider, who were impressed by their festival appearances. The composition put the Eilean Dorcha Festival on par with Woodstock, both being celebrated in song.
