Saturday was the big day for Borgh Pottery…the first since work on the total transformation of the building to become far more light and spacious came to an end after more than seven months.

The work…which enables visitors to see pottery as it is being created by owner Sue Blair… includes a transformed shop and display area, new areas illuminated by natural light, and a reception area for visitors to relax and access the garden with shrubs and trees on various levels around the pottery.

The building project was delayed by the extraordinarily poor weather conditions since last autumn and while the shop reopened during June, the work on other areas continued until last week.
